Blog number 1: countries

Hi classmates, Today i’ll talk about the country that I want to visit sometime.

I have thought very much about this topic and I think I would like to know many countries, like Brasil for the beaches and for the joy of his people or like iceland for its wonderful places, I would also like to know Japan or China for its millenary culture and france for its romanticism.

but I think if I had to choose a country where to live I would not choose Chile, but not a country so far away because it would be difficult get used to for me.

I think a good place to live that is not far and I love it even though I do not know much it is uruguay. I think it's a good place because it has social policies that help people to live better and more relaxed, I also really like the personality of Uruguayan society.

even though I have never left chile, I have plans to know the world.

Last blog

Hello classmates, today I will talk about my experience in English class.

First I would like to say that this have been a good experience learning about many things and many aspects that I did not know. I must say that before of enter the university I did not know anything about English despite having English at my previous school.

So, I have learned everything about english in this university, I think it has been easier for me to learn here because more participation is needed than at school, besides the teachers that I've had have been very good, fist have been good because they understand that there are more advantaged students than others and they help all the students, the advantaged and those who do not, second, I think that they are good because they do many practical and playful activities and this is more funny and better for learn.

I think most aspects of English class are positives, but can have some that I do not like, for example one negative things can be some teachers that force you to talk even though they see that you do not know, I think this can embarrass the student and I think it can harm him in his learning because can cause a rejection in the student.

Now that I've learned a little about English, I could understand better many things like for example some songs, conversations of movies, etc. Also I have also been practicing in my mind how to speak English, conversing with myself and finding out how to express myself better. 

Session 9. Changes to my study program

Hi! Today I'll talk about how is the study program of my degree and how would I like it to be.
First I want to say how is my study program; In psychology the first 2 years and half are for the obligatory subjects, these subjects are a little difficult because not all are funny, or not all are of my favorite perspective, for example I had psychology of the learning and this is an experimental perspective and I hate this, but not all was bad, some subject was very funny like social history of Chile, philosophy or clinical psychology, these was funny for me for the topic and for the teacher.

After the 2 years and half, you can chose your subjects and this is very more interesting because you can specialize in your favorite area, I have selected principally subject about clinical psychology, but the problem with this is that I want subject about humanism psychology and this is not so common, so there are few subject about this, but compared with another areas I can't complain.

One thing that I would change in the study program is the last year, because that year is so overloaded of works, first you have to make the practice and this is not payed, also you should make the thesis about a specific topic, and also, you have to come to the university for the certification program. All this is a overloading for the student and the majority has a delay for end this year, so I think that one of this things should be before of the 5th year.

In relation to the use of the technology in the class I´m content because is a good help for make the works and for learn the subjects. 

Summer holidays

For this summer vacation I have some plans.

First, I like travel to south of Chile because the last time that I traveled to the south was so wonderful, but in this opportunity I like have more money than the last time for make more things and know new places.

For make this, I am raising money with my girlfriend selling some things like t-shirt, pants, jacket, and others.

We like go to the Chiloé again and know the nears islands, and we like go with another friends, but they are not confirmed because depend of the money, what is sure is that I with my girlfriend are motivated for this plan.

Another thing that I like make this vacation is study for my tesis, first for define of good form the topic (this is in December) and after study for know more thing about this topic an be more qualified for make this work.

But, for make this two things (travel and study) I need work and study in December  and this can be so difficult for me, so I need concentration on the objective and save all the possible money.

Also I like spend time with my family, with my brother, my parents, and my friends.
Usually I with my friend in the holidays go to the river of Linares, this river it's so near and only with a bicycle in some minute you can arrive, it's a good panorama for a day.

End of semester

Hi classmates, today I Will talk about some things from the end of my semester

As you are, I am with many things at this end of the semester, first for all I have to do five works this last week, these are a essay of the subject of Foladori called “grupo operativo”, also I should do one work of “identidad laboral” with around of 10 pages besides of a power point of a text of this same subject. I must also do a essay of “therapy whit families” and other for the subject called news insights of the science in educational policy, among others Works.

Besides this, I must choose my thesis topic and my place to do my practice, I still do not have my thesis topic, but I have some ideas to develop. About my place for my practice I have already postulated to three places that are the psychological care center of university of Chile, the Arbol center and the DAE of faculty of economics and business of university of Chile, I hope to stay in one of them but first I must go to an interview in all this place.

Besides all this, I must choose a teacher guide for my thesis and this has been a bit difficult because many have already spoken with the teachers but I hope to find one this week, I feel like catching a pokemon jaja, I hope that all this anxiety ends later and everything goes well.

Postgraduate Studies

Hi! Today in this blog I talk about what I’ll study if I decide continues with a postgraduate.

I study psychology and more specifically I like the humanism theory for many things, but fundamentally because I´m interesting in learn about the psychology with the body and this theory is of this form, for example this theory talk about the relation of the emotion with the part of body and how you can recognize this emotion depended how you feel your heart, foot, back, neck, etc. Also, you can recognize what emotion cause what you are talking whit your movement in that moment, for example, if you was talking about a problem and in that moment you made a movement with your hand, you can ask to you what represent this movement for you, and after find the emotion behind this problem, in summary it's a form of bring to the present the emotion that it´s in your body. 

If I decide make a postgraduate, I´ll make about the focusing (it’s only a part of the humanism) for the previous reason, but also I always have wanted learn about the agronomy, so this is other option that I have.

I think that I will not do a new process of study again, but I can participate of a workshop or learn alone about the agronomy, I like it because it’s a practice activity, because I can harvest my things and because it´s very relaxing and gratifying. 

Future Work

Hi guys!

I am a psychology student and I am in my fourth year. Talking about my future job, I want to do clinic, but I don’t like that a boss tell me how make mi work and how much time work at day, the ideal for me is have my own consultation and accommodate me to my times.

I know that this is difficult and first I need make money for rent a place, I think this will be a beautiful place, also I like participate in some group workshop about agronomy because is a very interesting topic for me.

My expectative about the salary are not so big, because the psychology is not so profitable, but is more important for me have free time for make others think a part of my work, how travel, be with my family or my friends, etc.

In psychology are many methods of make therapy, I want work with the humanist therapy, because is more emphatic with the people and also includes the patient body and this is so interesting for me, because no other theory does this.

Finally I want to say that I do not like to work, but if I do what I like I think this can change, next semester I start the practice and I think that I will get used to this new life.
